Review: City of Ember

Oh look, I’ve watched another film. This time it’s “City of Ember“.

I sat down to watch this film, eagerly as the trailers seem to be reasonable full of action along with a somewhat good plotline. Unfortunately the plot was not done any justice by the film makers.

The film started well, with the back story set into place and the introduction of the main protagonist and heroes for the story, then from it all went downhill. While there was a lot of build up, it all seemed very anticlimatical as the most exciting point was when a mutated mole attacked and that lasted all of about a minute. The Film dragged on until it fell into predictability and “old hat”edness which just furthered my annoyance.
